- Before cooking or freezing your mussels, soak the mussels in saltwater for about 10-15 mins and scrub your mussels lightly to remove the sands.
- Store refrigerated in the freezer compartment and consume within 24-48 hours for optimal freshness.
- To defrost, place in the fridge compartment about 4-5 hours beforehand and ensure it is soft for peak freshness.
